Leona LaurenLeona Louise Lewis was born 3 April 1985 is an actress, singer, and activist of British origin. She was born and raised in the London Borough Of Islington she attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Croydon. Lewis has been able to garner national attention when she won The X-Factor's third series in 2006. In addition, she received the PS1 million recording contract with Syco Music. The single she won in the contest, which was a cover Kelly Clarkson's track "A Moment like This", reached 50,000 downloads in 30 minutes and peaked at number 1 for four weeks. Clive Davis, Lewis's American record label J Records signed Lewis a 5-album deal in February 2007. Lewis maintained her popularity with Spirit the first studio album. Lewis' hit single "Collide," was a collaboration between Swedish DJ Avicii and she also dropped Hurt The EP, her first extended play. Glassheart (2012) was Lewis her three studio albums. It was Lewis her first foray into electronic dubstep and music. In the course of her Glassheart Tour in 2013, she began recording songs to her Christmas debut album. Christmas with Love came out later in the year. The album's first single, "One More Sleep" reached the top spot at three in the UK. It made Lewis one of the very first British single female singer to reach the top fivespot, with eight songs. She also surpasses Olivia Newton John's record of seven.
