Cristela Alonzo is a American stand-up comic also known as producer, actress and writer. Cristela is well-known because of the TV show Cristela which premiered in 2014. As a result she became the first Latina in the history of television to develop writing, directing and starring in her own TV show. She started her career in Texas and later moved to Los Angeles, where she pursued her career. She has appeared in the roles of guest stars in television shows such as Sons of Anarchy' and General Hospital. She is also a scriptwriter for the TV show Mind of Mencia.
