
Amanda Louise Holden was born on the 16th of February in 1971. She is an English actress, media personality and singer. Since 2007 she has been a judge on the television talent show Britain's Got Talent on ITV. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on every weekday morning. Holden was born in Portsmouth, Hampshireand spent much of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham, and aged nine, she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden also has TV credits, including three series that she co-starred with Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham on the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes of ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield on BBC, and a Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple Episode "4.50 from Paddington" with Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. She co-starred with Bill Nighy and Tom Courtenay in Ready When You Are, Mr. McGill, a comedy drama written by Jack Rosenthal. Alongside Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge on Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on Britain's Got Talent from 2006 to 2006.
